A little bit about us

A family in Burlington, Vermont, is in search of a nurturing and experienced nanny to care for their three delightful children, aged 6, 4, and 1. The older children are in school during the day-most of the care will center on the youngest. Your role will be instrumental in nurturing their development and ensuring a supportive atmosphere, especially during a challenging time as the mother is currently recovering from an illness.
Hours can be adjusted based on the needs of a well-qualified nanny.

Key Responsibilities:
• Engage the children in educational and creative activities tailored to their individual interests and developmental stages.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, accommodating any dietary preferences or restrictions.
• Maintain a clean and organized household, including light housekeeping duties related to the children’s areas and laundry.
• Cultivate positive behavior and manners through gentle guidance and effective communication.
• Provide transportation to and from school, extracurricular activities, and appointments as necessary.

Qualifications:
• Previous childcare experience, coupled with a genuine passion for working with children of various ages.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor to establish strong relationships with both children and parents. Must not be allergic to cats.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced household environment.
