Responsibilities

Childcare

* Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care for our 6-month-old.
* Prepare and give bottles or meals according to the baby’s feeding schedule.
* Handle diaper changes, naps, playtime, walks, and age-appropriate developmental activities.
* Keep the baby’s play, feeding, and sleeping areas clean and organized.
* Occasionally care for our 3-year-old, including supervising play, preparing snacks or meals, and helping with routines.
* Communicate regularly with the parents about the children’s activities, feeding, naps, mood, and any concerns.

Household support

* Complete general household cleaning and tidying during appropriate periods when childcare needs allow.
* Tasks may include cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, tidying common areas, and doing household or children’s laundry.
* Load and unload the dishwasher and keep the kitchen clean and organized.
* Help with family meal preparation or cooking, such as washing and chopping ingredients, preparing simple meals, and portioning or storing food.
* Take our dog for walks and provide basic care as needed.
