Our 6-year old is precocious, mischievous, and high energy, full of imagination and seeking independence. Both boys are curious about the world, avid readers, and love to roughhouse.
We also have a large, friendly dog and a rather annoying cat, both of whom would require some petting, but no other care.
During the school year, this would involve school pick-ups through early evening. During the summer, it would likely be morning hours, but with flexibility. One parent works from home, and the other will occasionally be off work (hospital-based), and so there is support.
