A little bit about us

We’re a warm, easygoing family looking for a loving, dependable nanny to care for our daughter, Margaret, beginning in November. She will be about 7 months old when care begins. We’re hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys working with infants and wants to become a trusted part of our family’s routine.

Responsibilities

* Provide attentive, loving care for Margaret throughout the day
* Engage in developmentally appropriate play, reading, music, sensory activities, and outdoor walks
* Take her to age-appropriate activities in the community, such as story time at the library, music classes, or other infant/toddler programs (we’re happy to discuss transportation and memberships as needed)
* Change diapers and assist with basic hygiene
* Wash bottles and feeding supplies used during the day
* Keep her play areas and nursery tidy
* Baby laundry as needed
* Provide a quick daily update on naps, meals, diapers, and any fun milestones

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is

* Loving, patient, reliable, and engaging
* Experienced caring for infants
* CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to become certified)
* A non-smoker
* Comfortable around dogs (we have one friendly dog)
* Has reliable transportation and excellent references
* Interested in building a long-term relationship with our family

Bonus

We’re open to a nanny share with another family if it’s a great fit for everyone. We also encourage getting out of the house for walks, library story time, music classes, playgroups, and other enriching activities as Margaret grows.
