A growing family in Louisville is looking for a full-time Nanny/Family Assistant to provide steady, hands-on support for their two children, with a third baby on the way later this year. This is a hybrid role that blends childcare with household support, and the right candidate will be just as comfortable on the floor playing as they are keeping the day to day running smoothly. Responsibilities include school pickups and drop offs, light meal prep for the kids with family meal prep a welcome bonus, household laundry, maintaining child related spaces, age appropriate activities, errands, grocery pickup, managing deliveries, and coordinating with the family's biweekly cleaning team to keep the household in order.
This family is looking for someone calm and confident, physically active and energetic enough to keep pace with two lively kids, and comfortable taking the lead. With children at very different stages, they need a nanny who brings creativity and adaptability to play and problem solving, meeting each child exactly where they are. They want someone who takes initiative, finds ways to pitch in without being asked, and communicates openly and honestly. Above all, they are looking for someone who feels like the right long-term fit, invested in becoming part of the family's day to day and excited to grow alongside them for years to come.
Location: Prospect, KY, 40059
Start: Late September / Early October
Children: 3 and 8 years old, baby due in December
Compensation: $30-$35 per hour, taxes withheld, guaranteed hours, paid vacation, paid sick time, paid holidays; a health and housing stipend is negotiable
Travel: 4 to 6 weeks per year, to be agreed upon and scheduled in advance.
