Babysitter Job: The Santos-Gaskins Family with 2 Children
We’re a military family with two energetic boys, ages 5 and 10, both AuDHD. Our older son is fairly independent and mainly needs gentle reminders for daily routines. Our younger son has a speech delay but is very expressive. Once he gets comfortable with you, communication is easy! He’s full of energy and thrives with outdoor play, sensory activities, and the kinds of hands-on fun he enjoys in OT.
We need someone to babysit occasionally, with the potential to transition into a part-time role caring for our youngest. Responsibilities would include driving him to therapy, being home for afternoon school pickup, and keeping up with his active, playful nature. Respite care experience is a plus, but not required. A warm, patient personality matters most.
With my husband working out of state and me returning to school (and eventually work), reliable and flexible support is key. We have no pets, and we’re open to discussing bringing your little ones along with a trial period to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone.
