A little bit about us

We are seeking a full time, reliable and nurturing nanny to care for our two children, an 18-month-old toddler girl and a 7-year-old boy who will be at school for most of the day. The primary responsibility of the nanny will be to provide attentive and loving care for our toddler. The position requires someone who is comfortable with dogs and can work efficiently while the parent works from home. The nanny will have access to a vehicle for transporting the child if needed. The hours will be M-F 9am-5pm.

Responsibilities:
Childcare: Provide attentive and high-quality care for our child(ren), ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
Daily Routine: Establish and maintain a consistent daily routine, including mealtimes, naps, and playtime activities.
Meal Preparation: Prepare age-appropriate meals and snacks.
Activities and Playtime: Engage in interactive and age-appropriate play, encouraging their cognitive, emotional, and physical development.
Educational Engagement: Plan and implement educational activities, such as reading, storytelling, and sensory exploration.
School Pickup (occasional): For 7 year old.
House Rules and Routines: Follow the established house rules and routines set by the parents.
Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the child's care, such as cleaning up after meals and playtime.
Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with the parents, sharing updates on the child's activities and any concerns that may arise.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in childcare, particularly with infants and toddlers.
Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.
Genuine love and passion for working with children.
Patience, attentiveness, and the ability to handle the challenges of caring for young children.
Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to the job.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Tammi is very sweet so far and not much of a crier. We also have 3 very friendly dogs that can be engaged with or left alone, they like to hang out with us in our offices as well so they are available for play when desired but we don't need them to be watched after other than to not be bothering Tammi too much.
