Part-Time Nanny Job: The Spangler Family with 3 Children
We're a family of five moving to Myersville, MD, in early 2027 and looking for a warm, dependable, and engaging nanny to care for our three children (ages 4, 2, and an infant). We're hoping to find someone who will build strong relationships with our kids and become a valued part of our family for years to come!
Start Date: Early 2027 (exact date somewhat flexible)
Schedule: 3–4 days per week, approximately 25-30 hours total per week. Typical hours are 9 AM–5 PM, with some flexibility for the right person.
Responsibilities:
* Provide attentive, nurturing care for up to three children.
* Plan age-appropriate activities, including outdoor play, reading, crafts, and learning opportunities.
* Help with school and preschool drop-offs/pickups within walking distance of our home.
* Serve healthy meals and snacks (no significant cooking required).
* Support consistent daily routines, including naps and infant care.
A Little More About Our Family:
Beginning in fall 2027, our oldest will start kindergarten, our middle child will attend part-time preschool, and our youngest will remain home full-time. This means the number of children in your care will vary throughout the day.
We value a screen-free environment, plenty of outdoor time, creative play, and a nurturing, structured approach to childcare. One parent works from home, and we're looking for someone comfortable with this arrangement.
Ideal Candidate:
* Has experience caring for infants and multiple young children.
* Is warm, patient, reliable, and proactive.
* Enjoys engaging children through play and learning.
* Has reliable transportation to and from our home.
* Is interested in a long-term position.
