Full-Time Nanny Job: The Beyer Family with 2 Children
We are seeking a dedicated, professional nanny to join our family long-term. The primary focus is providing a safe, enriching environment for our two children, Miles (2) and Parker (3-months). This is not a babysitter position; we are looking for a childcare partner who will actively engage in the children’s developmental milestones, manage their daily schedules, and become an extension of our parenting team.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Child Development: Plan and lead age-appropriate activities including reading, sensory play, outdoor exploration, and arts/crafts.
• Routine Management: Maintain consistency with nap schedules, potty training, and meal times.
• Nutrition: Prepare healthy breakfast, lunches, and snacks. Clean up kitchen/dining areas after child-related meals.
• Light Household Chores (Child-Related): Keep play areas tidy, wash children’s laundry, and wash bottles.
• Transportation: Drive children to local activities (Cranbrook Gardens, Detroit Zoo, local libraries) using personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.
Current schedule for Miles:
• 8am - Breakfast
• 9:30am - Small snack
• 11:15am - Lunch
• 12:15pm - Down for nap
• 2:30pm - His usual wake-up time
• 4:30pm - End of day. Parent connection time to discuss the day’s activities.
Candidate Requirements:
• Experience: 5+ years of professional nanny experience (or 3 years + Early Childhood Education degree).
• Safety: Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Vetting: Must pass a comprehensive background check (Michigan ICHAT) and have a clean driving record.

Full-Time Nanny Job: The Werner Family with 1 Child
Henry is a homeschooled 2nd grader (will be 3rd grade at the time of the position). We will continue to manage the homeschooling in the evenings, but Henry needs an engaging, fun nanny to stay with him and keep him busy while mom & dad are at work during the day. He likes video games & tv, but that's not what we prefer for him! We prefer someone to help him nurture his imaginative, playful, helpful side. He loves to read, and to spill the imaginary world of his books into stories and plays and pretend movies he'll act out for anyone who will pay attention. He has a homeschool co-op group that meets for play and field trips twice a week, so his nanny will likely drive him to these as well. We do have a 2 year old Boston Terrier that will require care, as well. This just involves taking her out a couple of times a day and playing with her. She's a good but very energetic pup! Finally, we have a 13 year old daughter that goes to the local public school. We haven't decided if she'll walk to school, ride a bike, or if she'll need a ride from our nanny. The school is very close to our house, so hopefully not a burden at all. The hours of the position will be 3 days a week (open to discuss which are most convenient), approximately 9-10 hours a day.
