A little bit about us

My daughter is ten years old and she is out of school until Aug. 7th. I’m looking for someone to care for her anytime starting between 8-10 AM to 5 PM for 2-3 days a week and 4 days per a week starting in July. My daughter is very sweet and joyful but she needs structure because she’s a strong willed child. She’s very bright and likes to take over the house but she enjoys a variety of activities so she’s pretty easy to entertain. She helps make her food and I mainly need someone there to help her with various activities aside from looking at her screen this summer! She also needs help remembering to clean up after herself. She has a 12-year old sister who’s also sweet and can use some company but she’s very self sufficient. I’m mainly concerned with their safety and security while I’m working.

We're looking for a part-time "mother's helper" to come each weekday afternoon from 4:30-6:30, do some light housekeeping (pick up toys, do kids' laundry), some light cooking (prepping a snack for the kids or chopping some veggies as part of meal prep), then help with the kids when they get home from daycare (play with kids, make sure big brother is being nice with little brother, maybe take 1 kid in the backyard or in the pool, help get them ready for bed).

This isn't necessary, but would be nice to find someone who was also interested in full meal prep, possibly at our house or possibly preparing before and just bringing over.
