A little bit about us

My husband and I are beginning our search for in-home care for our son, beginning around September 2026 (would like to do a trial period in August). Our son will be 12-16 weeks. I'll be returning to work remotely after maternity leave and our goal is to keep our son home for at least the first year, before putting him in daycare.

Location: We live in Hunters Trace, located off Burbank, between Lee Drive and Staring Lane (across from Court to Table).

Coverage / Availability Requested:
-Monday through Wednesday/Thursday, 8am - 5pm, on average, but can be flexible. (looking for 3 days per week, but open to a 4th).

About us:
-First-time parents to a sweet baby boy.
-I work from home full-time, so I'll be in the house during the day.
-Have 2 sweet dogs as well.

We're looking for someone who is:
-Warm, nurturing, and genuinely enjoys caring for young babies.
-Experienced with infants/young babies.
-Reliable, responsible, and communicative.
-CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified).
-Comfortable with mom working from home and interacting with me from time to time throughout the day.
-Comfortable around two friendly dogs.
-A non-smoker.

Responsibilities would include:
-Providing attentive, loving care for our son.
-Following his feeding and napping schedule.
-Age-appropriate play, tummy time, reading, and helping support his development as he grows.
-While baby is napping, help with baby-related household tasks (bottles, baby laundry, etc.) Willing to pay more if open to supporting other light household chores (as available).

Hourly rate is negotiable based on experience.

I will be working overnights from around 6pm till about 3am sometimes I have to stay later. That would have you needing to be there for 5pm so I can tell you how the day went and get situated. My schedule just depends on the week, but I do work occasional Friday and Saturday nights for sure. I am trying to move to Baton Rouge where I will only be 20 minutes away from my job if you were to ever need anything. I do have a large dog who is extremely sweet and loving. My baby is one years old and is full of energy and personality. She is amazing, smart, and very playful. She loves playing and learning. All you would need to do is feed her at 6-6:30(I cook her meals) bath time for 7 and then bed for 8 sometimes she stays up a little later till 9 just depends on how the day went and then she sleeps through the night and I’ll be home around 3am. If I end up having to do something past that time I would message you and let you know beforehand. Other than that she sleeps till 8-9am. So you would really just be there during the night time while she sleeps just listen for her check in on her. You don’t have to clean anything I do all of that only thing I will say is just to pick up after yourself that is it. She does love to cuddle so you would have to put her to sleep she’s never slept in a crib.

Currently my partner and I want to find a part-time, maybe, fully time nanny to fit with our busy, hectic schedules. Responsibilities include pick-up (weekly for a few hours), pet care, light house keeping, weekend care as needed, etc. During this time, we expect Zoë to be fed, changed, and her needs to be met just as I mom would all while keeping her a happy baby. We do also have a very involved golden doodle named Krewe. Taking care of Zoe is #1, but Krewe is the real deal breaker. In addition to Zoë’s needs, some responsibility will be to take Krewe for a walk, and ensure he has food too. My partner and I are very busy individuals and may potentially need a nanny that can be available 24/7 and able to travel.
