Full-Time Nanny Job: The Johnston Family with 3 Children
Full-Time Nanny for 16-Month-Old Twins — Walnut Creek (Walnut Heights)
We’re a family relocating to Walnut Creek from the DC area and looking for an experienced, full-time nanny for our twin girls (16 months).
The role
• Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm starting October
• In our home near Walnut Blvd and Rudgear Rd (94596)
• Two toddlers, one 6 year old who will come home after school until we can find an after school program
• Guaranteed hours, you’re paid for your scheduled week whether or not we travel
Day to day
Naps, meals and bottles, diapering, and lots of outdoor time such as parks, walks, and the backyard. Light kid-related tidying: their laundry, bottles and dishes, keeping play areas in order. Simple meal prep for the twins. No household cleaning or errands beyond what’s tied to the kids.
Who we’re hoping to find
• At least 2 years of professional nanny or childcare experience with children under 3; experience with twins or two same-age children is a real plus
• Comfortable managing two mobile toddlers
• Current CPR and pediatric first aid
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean record
• Warm, patient, and communicative
• Non-smoker, and comfortable with a larger old dog
• Fluent English
Compensation
$31-33/hour depending on experience, paid legally on the books through a payroll service
Paid vacation, holidays, and sick days for negotiation
