A little bit about us

Fun family with 2 boys in Bennington. They love being outside, taking walks on the nearby walking trail to the park, doing crafts and playing with cars and trains. We have memberships to the zoo, children’s museum, a neighborhood pool and we also provide an activity budget.

We take a follow the child approach to parenting and encourage independence in our kids. We are looking for someone who is willing to mirror our approach, while also bringing their own intentionality to helping us raise thoughtful, empathetic and strong leaders.

We have 2 dogs and a cat.

The position would include
- watching the kids 9-4 M-F
- light meal planning and prep (snacks/lunch)
- light housework (dishwasher emptied, kids laundry and cleaning up toys)
- planning a (loose) monthly learning/play theme and activities
- light pet care (letting outside, filling water)

Our toddler will be starting half day preschool in August.

Mom works from home office and feeds baby on demand, so you’ll get a few breaks, and I will stay out of your hair and let you lead.

We are looking for someone who is a self starter, can adjust their leader style depending on the child, who practices emotional intelligence and is always learning and growing. Non smokers only. Must have own safe transportation.

We are looking for a nanny long term for our 3 children, ages 6, 5, and 2. The oldest is in school, the middle goes to preschool 3 days a week, and the third is home full time.
Primary Care would be for our 2 year old who naps in the afternoon, Claire (5 year old) after preschool, and James (6 year old) for an hour or so after he gets home from school.

We are looking forward to an open and communicative relationship with our nanny. A perfect match would be someone who has reliable transportation, punctual, patience, enjoys helping kids develop and feel loved, enjoys the outdoors, planning activities, and keeping it fun. My husband works from home, and I have flexibility between working at home and going to the office.

Days/Time: 4 days a week. Tues-Friday, 7:45-4pm during the school year.
