Part-Time Nanny Job: The Legocki Family with 2 Children
Our family includes Dad and Mom (both surgeons), and two boys (4 and 2 years old). Our boys are gentle, silly, and affectionate. We are looking for a care giver and role model who would keep our boys safe, pick them up from school each weekday and spend an hour or two with them afterward. Having access to a safe car is a requirement, but we have car seats and would provide whatever else is helpful. The boys go to the same school, about 10 minutes from our home in Capitol Hill. At a minimum, the hours would be approximately 4:30 p.m. 6:00 p.m. each weekday. If you are interested in more hours, we are open to it! We are happy to discuss what you want and make the schedule work for you. For example: weekly date night for a few hours, a few weekend hours, and/or home help (cooking, laundry, light cleaning). Son is a bright, intense, curious boy who loves books, tools, cooking, and painting. He does best with adults who follow his lead, give him real choices, and find his intensity interesting rather than exhausting. He is neurodivergent and is working with an occupational therapist. He thrives in flexible, low-pressure environments and is in a half-day montessori. Daughter is an energetic toddler, now walking, who is ready for big fun, lots of reading, and exploration.
We are a quiet and collaborative family who prize curiosity, expression, and thoughtfulness. Looking for someone willing to execute provided activities in the afternoon and assist with light meal prep (also a toddler activity we believe in!) a few days per week.
