Full-Time Nanny Job: The Slack Family with 2 Children
We’re a warm, welcoming family looking for a caring and engaging nanny to join us from late September through June 11th, Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM–3:30 PM.
Our son Teddy is an energetic and imaginative four-year-old who loves story time, making up adventures, and playing with his dinosaurs and trains. He enjoys outdoor play at the park across the street and neighborhood walks filled with curiosity and conversation.
You’ll also care for our infant daughter, whose days revolve around cuddles, naps, bottle feedings (prepared in advance), and gentle playtime.
We also have a friendly dog who will need to be taken out on a lead a few times throughout the day and kept watered.
We’re hoping to find someone who is nurturing, dependable, playful, and enjoys creating a fun, loving environment for young children. If you love reading stories, encouraging imagination, and caring for little ones (and don’t mind a sweet dog companion!), we’d love to hear from you.
We will not require services around the following holidays:

Spring break (end of March)

We are looking for help from Wednesday, May 4th until Sunday, May 8th from 8:00am until 6:00pm each day. Children will be of various ages, and sitters will be provided with meals. Sitters must have a background check completed, be 18 years or older, and can ideally work all shifts from Wednesday through Sunday.

We are looking for a creative, experienced instructor/ companion to help support a young adult with Autism. The ideal candidate has experience supporting individuals with special needs and will be engaging, compassionate, patient and flexible to the individual's needs. Schedule can be determined together based on availability and service needs. 10-20 hrs/week. Responsibilities will include promoting independent living skills, some academics, engaging in her community and provide companionship and support throughout the day and with activities set up. Initially, much of the work will be in the home as we transition more into the community. The ideal candidate places an emphasis on building rapport and a trusting working relationship. Starting at $30-35, hr., but can be increased based on experience and education.

We live walking distance to the Rockville Metro station (on the red line).
Responsibilities include: feeding, playing, bathing, cleaning/organizing baby things and area (i.e., bottles, books, etc.), doing baby laundry.
Other things to note:
*Must be fully COVID vaccinated (including booster)
*Must have experience working with infants
*Must be CPR / first aid trained
*Ideally playful and fun-loving
*BONUS if you speak another language and if you can do some light cooking!
