A little bit about us

My husband works a rotating schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off, with shifts changing by one day each week. I’ll also be working remotely one day each week.

For instance, he might work Monday through Thursday and be off Friday through Monday. On one of his workdays—let’s say Thursday—I would work from home, so the nanny would need to be available Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

In the following week, he could work Tuesday through Friday, and I would again be home one day. This means some weeks may require the nanny for 4 days, while others may only need 1-3. If you’re not open to a rotating schedule, this may not be the right fit for you.

I’m looking for someone that can be at my house with my 7 year old son while I am at work. I work odd hours but have an extra room if needed to stay over during the night shifts. I just need someone to prepare meals as well as pick up / drop off from school. I do have a Boston terrier but my son will take care of him.

We currently have an 18-month-old girl and are preparing for our next baby that is due in Feb. We are looking for someone to help out about 15-20 hours a week. It could be watching either or both depending on what that week demanded.

We have two German shepherds that are big but very sweet and free roam the house with our daughter without any issues. (We also have sections of the house they don't go so there is space without them).

Expectations would be pretty straightforward. Watching, changing, bathing, feeding, and the baby's laundry.

We are very easy going and just looking for a little help during the week 3 to 4 days in about four hour segments to be able to run appointments etc. There will be plenty of opportunity for nights and weekends as well if there is interest in picking up extra hours.
