About us & the kids We're a Ravenna family looking for a warm, reliable person to help our two kids — ages 12 and 10 — through their weekday afternoons. They're genuinely great company: funny, kind, creative, and endlessly curious. You'll spend your afternoons with two people who love to laugh, make things, and ask big questions, and we're looking for someone who'll enjoy them as much as we do.
What you'll do
• School pickup from their school in Queen Anne each afternoon and drive them home or to activities.
• Get them to their activities — think gymnastics, soccer, and supporting their online math sessions, which happen at home.
• Light kitchen tidying — dishes, wiping counters, keeping the space in good shape (no deep cleaning).
• Occasional project help — pitching in on the kids' school projects and small family to-dos as they come up.
• Optional evening babysitting if you're available and interested — always a bonus, never required.
Schedule
• Roughly 3 hours per afternoon, 4 days per week (about 12 hours/week), on a consistent weekly schedule.
• Open to occasional evening sitting for date nights, by mutual arrangement.
What we're looking for
• A clean driving record — this is a must, since you'll be driving our kids.
• A reliable, quality car in good condition — strongly preferred.
• Someone patient, dependable, and genuinely good with school-age kids.
• Comfortable keeping a light household routine and lending a hand on projects.
• CPR/First Aid certification and references are a plus (references required before hire).

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Legocki Family with 2 Children
Our family includes Dad and Mom (both surgeons), and two boys (4 and 2 years old). Our boys are gentle, silly, and affectionate. We are looking for a care giver and role model who would keep our boys safe, pick them up from school each weekday and spend an hour or two with them afterward. Having access to a safe car is a requirement, but we have car seats and would provide whatever else is helpful. The boys go to the same school, about 10 minutes from our home in Capitol Hill. At a minimum, the hours would be approximately 4:30 p.m. 6:00 p.m. each weekday. If you are interested in more hours, we are open to it! We are happy to discuss what you want and make the schedule work for you. For example: weekly date night for a few hours, a few weekend hours, and/or home help (cooking, laundry, light cleaning). We are looking for someone as a backup when our current babysitter is unavailable/sick. She watches Julian on Tuesdays while my husband and I are at work. My husband, Clinton, is in beverage production and I, Ashley, am a neonatal ICU nurse. The hours are generally 8am-4/5pm. Although we have a little flexibility, if needed. We are happy to have someone come to our home or drop Julian off. We have a hypoallergenic cat, Denny, who pretty much keeps to himself.
