A little bit about us

Need a calm, adaptable individual to be a personal aid for teen with autism. Full time while school is out and I work. 20-25 hrs a week when school is in session.
Able to pass screening for VMRC and willing to be compensated as a vendor. Any hrs outside of VMRC approved hrs will be paid by me directly to provider at a pre-determined and agreed upon rate.
Position also dependant on compatibility between my son and the person chosing to "hang out" with him.
He is self directed and prefers his activities to be his own. He will interact when he feels like including you, otherwise you can surf the web or read a book to pass the time.
Minimal help with meal prep. No major cooking required. Light clean-up after meals. No housework. No trips unless pre-arrranged and approved by me.
Pretty much just keep him happy, keep him healthy, and hang out!
Days and times pretty consistent.
I work M-F 7:30am to 4pm
30 mins to and from work at most
When school is going will need someone occasionally in AM to get him on bus after I leave for work (7a-9a) and after school to get off bus and watch him until I get home (2p-5p)
