Part-Time Nanny Job: The VanVoorhees Family with 2 Children
We're looking for a reliable, self-directed evening nanny for our two boys (3 years and 10 months) in Gilmer Park/9th & 9th, starting August 10th.
Monday-Friday, 4:45-7:45pm - guaranteed schedule year-round, whether one or both parents are home. Confident owning the evening solo, but able to tag-team on nights we're home.
Goal by 7:45: both boys fed (simple dinner, you cook), both in bed, kitchen cleaned up, living room tidied.
Evenings are screen-free. CPR/First Aid certified required. Own reliable car with clean driving record required (occasional daycare pickup for both boys). Comfortable around our two cats (no pet care).
We'd also love for you to be our go-to babysitter when needed!

Iris is an 18 month girl who loves to play and dance. Both parents work, but it is likely one parent will be able to work from home, so responsibilities will be pretty light.
Ideally you would come in around 9:30, she eats at 10:00, play or go for walk after second breakfast (we are very close to the park), lunch at noon and is usually ready for a nap around 1:00. Once she’s down you are free to go!
We just need someone to entertain her so she doesn’t feel ignored. We would love to meet you and see if it’s a good fit.
We do have a cat fyi

We have a 5 year old boy (Oz) who needs after school nanny care and light educational support, and a 1.5 year old (Raiya) who needs pick up from daycare and some weekend evening care so we can get a date night in. Oz is curious, loving, and very engaged. He loves to learn, run, hunt for bugs, and play outside. Raiya is funny, adventurous, and very smart. She loves to laugh and ride her balance bike, and cuddle with loving friends and family. Hoping to hire an engaging individual who can incorporate fun, active, and learning experiences for our kids. We are looking for someone who is using safety measures in the community (mask and social distancing, limiting contacts, etc.) as our family has been very careful in this regard. You would not be expected to wear a mask in our home. Hoping to find someone who connects with our family and whom we can call on for other care opportunities. We’re looking for someone to watch our baby girl Sophie while we have business meetings to attend to. Most meetings are at night and sometimes on weekends. Every week is different so we’d need someone that is flexible with their hours and ok with the occasional cancellation. We need someone that is responsible and reliable.
