Babysitter Job: The Pandey Family with 1 Child
We're looking for a warm, dependable nanny to become part of our family's routine beginning in September. Our daughter will be turning one, and we're hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with toddlers through play, reading, music, outdoor time, and developmentally appropriate activities.
The schedule is Monday through Thursday from approximately **8:00 AM–1:00/2:00 PM** (with some flexibility). I work from home, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable working alongside a parent while confidently taking the lead with childcare during the day.
Childcare will always be the priority, but we're also hoping for someone who doesn't mind helping with light household tasks during naps or downtime, such as washing bottles, prepping simple meals and snacks for our daughter, folding laundry, chopping vegetables, taking out the trash, and helping keep the area tidy.
We're looking for someone who is kind, reliable, proactive, and experienced with infants and toddlers. Infant CPR/First Aid certification, reliable transportation, and previous nanny or childcare experience are preferred. We're hoping to build a long-term relationship with someone who will become a trusted part of our family.

- set up and monitor activity time (arts and crafts, games, etc)
- play area tidy up
- supervise them during playtime in backyard playground.
My ideal sitter is:
- proactive - able to transition through schedule without being told
- willing to connect with my kids (they are warm, lovable and friendly)
- able to keep them busy and switch gears when necessary (when child loses interest in activity, i.e)
- level-headed
