Full-Time Nanny Job: The Brown Family with 1 Child
We are eager to find the right fit for a November start date so below is a brief overview of what we are looking for & standard questions we would have..
Experience, safety credentials, and family alignment to care for our Harlow (23 days fresh today!) would be top priority.
1. Safety, Health, and Emergencies
- "Are your CPR and First Aid certifications up to date?"
- "Can you walk me through exactly how you would handle an allergic reaction or medical emergency?"
2. Daily Routine and Activities
- "What are your preferred methods for sleep training or naptime soothing?"
- "What does a typical day with a child my child's age look like?"
4. Logistics and Household Management
- "Are you comfortable with child-related chores like washing bottles, children's laundry, and tidying up play areas?"
- "Do you have a clean driving record, and are you comfortable driving our child if necessary?"
- "How much schedule flexibility do you have if our work day runs late or has a schedule change?"
We are located in Creston, just north of downtown GR (Knapp & Plainfield). Dad works in Holland, I am 100% remotely working from the home. We have one family dog Rizzo (English Springer Spaniel) who is beyond friendly & quite the lazy city dog. Enclosed backyard, comfortable deck, & neighbor strolls are where we choose to spend most of our time right now. Looking for 9-5 or 8-4, slightly flexible start & end times. I am very open to your preferences in working with a WFH parent.
Sleep training will be a new concept for us around this time. Breastfeeding & supplementing with formula currently, and hope to have our feeding journey sorted out in the next month. (Happy to discuss further.)
Do you have any non-negotiables? Would you be okay with a full background check? Preferred contract or style of agreement? Preferred hours, pay, sick/time off? Are you looking for a long term position?

Full-Time Nanny Job: The Velte Family with 1 Child
I work Monday through Friday 6:30 to 3 (most days) and my significant other works from home but it has just become to much work for him trying to multitask taking care of our 8 month old and running his business. We’re looking for someone from 8am to 3pm roughly. It would be ideal to have someone Monday through Friday but we will take what we can get honestly lol if you could only make a couple days work. If you ever did run into any issues you could always bother my husband but honestly we have the happiest and most chill baby. Most days should be pretty easy :)

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Covey Family with 1 Child
My wife and I work full time but I have a more flexible schedule than she does, allowing me to be home with our little guy 3 days a week. On the days I have to be in the office is when we will need child care, so mornings and afternoons.
Our little boy's grandparents don't live nearby, so they can only watch him a couple of times a month. That's where we are in need of an occasional babysitter, to fill in for the grandparents.
Our baby is pretty chill and low maintenance, only requiring feeding, changing, and tummy time. He also likes listening to records, reading books, and just being an all around smiley dude. We also have a dog and a cat, so you would have to be comfortable with pets. Also, we prefer non-smokers.
