A little bit about us

We have two beautiful little girls, a 5 year old starting Kindergarten this fall and a 2 year old who is home with me. We are looking for someone who can help out two days a week. We have an older dog who is very friendly and a new puppy! I’d like someone who knows fun local things to take the kids to or is creative with their time with children and will be present. I am not paying someone to sit and watch my kids play, but to be engaged with them. Schedule will fluctuate slightly so we are a good family to have as a second nannying position, potentially. Some days may include pick ups, some days may just be here at the house so I can run errands. Honestly, I am not sure what hours we would work out, it depends on the person I am sitting across from. We love to travel and spend our summers at the lake most of the time which is why someone open to traveling is a bonus. Being a former nanny myself, I want someone who loves children, is awesome with them, can make appropriate snacks, handle temper tantrums, blow their nose, clean poopy diapers/help with potty training and still leave smiling and hugging our girls each day. We don’t want to pay someone to scroll their phone while supervising our children, we want someone who wants to see our kids (and all kids) thrive like we do. My husband and I own a few small businesses and we have worked very hard and very much want the best for our girls. There can be y days you work for us or we can fluctuate it week to week if you’re a college student or working somewhere else. To me, this is a long term position, but there is some seasonality to it. If you are someone who is reliable, trustworthy, caring, and can bring more joy into our home, we’d love to talk further!

We need care for our almost 2yo daughter. Days are flexible. Hours are roughly 8:30-4 2 days per week and 9-3 one day per week with possibility of more hours or an increase over time. Our kids (we have 4, 3 of them are school aged and do not need regular care) are very laid back. We have 2 large dogs who are very loving and would just need to be let outside a couple of times (they’re on an electric fence). We would expect quality care, meal prep, help with developmental activities and general pick up toys and keeping home in good shape (if something spills clean it, vacuum if floors are covered, rinse dishes, etc). We do not need anyone to transport our 2yo anywhere but will supply a car seat if a trip to the park or something similar is desired. We are looking for someone with knowledge of child development and potty training (she’s getting to that age). We prefer someone who would come to our home. Reliable transportation is a must. Being prompt, respectful and communicative is essential. Having a creative and imaginative mind is important.
We would love to meet someone who could stay on with us long term until our daughter is ready for school.
