About Our Family:
We are a growing family with a 2-year-old daughter (turning 3 in July 2024) and a baby due in March 2024. As we transition from daycare to in-home care, we seek a dedicated nanny to bond with our children and provide a nurturing environment in our home.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety, well-being, and holistic development of our children.
Engage in activities that are physically and mentally stimulating for both children.
Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals and snacks for the kids.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of children's play areas, toys, bedrooms, and belongings.
Launder children's clothing and bedding.
Extension Responsibilities (negotiable for additional compensation):
Conduct light housekeeping tasks: dishwashing, countertop maintenance, general tidying, and occasional sweeping.
Meal planning for the family.
Grocery shopping and stocking household supplies.
Organize, research, and schedule enriching activities, clubs, or lessons for the children.
Qualifications:
Reliable transportation; the ability to transport children is a major plus.
At least two professional references.
Experience in early childhood education is preferred.
Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Non-smoker.
Willingness to undergo an in-person interview at our residence.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary, negotiable based on experience, qualifications, and additional responsibilities undertaken.
2 weeks of pre-scheduled paid vacation (usually centered around holidays when we travel).
Additional 1-2 weeks of flexible PTO.
Open kitchen privilege - if handling meal planning/grocery shopping, feel free to add personal preferences to the list.
Guaranteed 40-hour weekly pay with hourly compensation for hours exceeding 40 per week.
Yearly holiday bonus.
