Full-Time Nanny Job: The Slack Family with 2 Children
We’re a warm, welcoming family looking for a caring and engaging nanny to join us from late September through June 11th, Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM–3:30 PM.
Our son Teddy is an energetic and imaginative four-year-old who loves story time, making up adventures, and playing with his dinosaurs and trains. He enjoys outdoor play at the park across the street and neighborhood walks filled with curiosity and conversation.
You’ll also care for our infant daughter, whose days revolve around cuddles, naps, bottle feedings (prepared in advance), and gentle playtime.
We also have a friendly dog who will need to be taken out on a lead a few times throughout the day and kept watered.
We’re hoping to find someone who is nurturing, dependable, playful, and enjoys creating a fun, loving environment for young children. If you love reading stories, encouraging imagination, and caring for little ones (and don’t mind a sweet dog companion!), we’d love to hear from you.
We will not require services around the following holidays:

Duties include dropping children at school, preparing breakfast and packed lunches, caring for 15 month old child, and light child related housework (eg, laundry, straighten rooms, clean up breakfast dishes). We have a 7 year old who loves nature, the outdoors, and gymnastics! She has asthma and sensory processing challenges (touch/sound/taste) which are being treated. She also has anxiety and ADHD which are also being treated. We are looking for a nanny who can be a companion and provide exceptional child care, and someone who is fully vaccinated against COVID and follow our household COVID precautions because our daughter’s asthma is a high risk condition. We have a schedule that may vary somewhat from week to week due to our varying work schedules but we would be full time employers if someone was seeking full time work. Generally the hours are 8 am - 5 pm but it would be important to be able to work with some flexibility in the hours because our work schedules are also variable to a certain extent. We would also welcome someone who would be willing to do some duties as a house manager in addition to the childcare duties. These additional duties would consist of errands, some pet cat related thing (make sure food bowls are filled, trips to groomers), and some light household upkeep and potential meal preparation (for our daughter’s meals and possibly for entire household). As the COVID situation evolves we may also ask for our nanny/house manager to do errands like going to grocery store.

We are looking for a nanny/house help for an 8 year old and 15 years old) We need someone who is a good driver for drop offs/pick ups, organized and who can assist around the house, including meal prep, general cleaning/organizing, kids laundry, etc. Tuesday through Saturday work week.
