We are looking for a dependable and caring Household Assistant to help our family for the next 3 months, approximately 16 hours per week (Mon-Fri afternoons).
This role is execution-focused, carrying out tasks we assign to help our household run smoothly during the after-school hours. The role can grow into a house manager role.
Primary Responsibilities
*Pick up kids from bus stop/school
*After-school transition routine
*Support homework & reading progress (Mon-Thurs)
*Light household reset: dishes & kitchen wipe-down, entryway/backpack zone reset, kid spaces tidy
*Prep for activities/sports & drop-off transportation
*Occasional errands or organizing tasks as assigned
**Mileage reimbursed for local driving**

Moriah has been diagnosed with laryngomalacia, so this role requires someone who is patient, observant, and proactive in providing specialized care and monitoring to ensure her safety, comfort, and healthy development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care for an infant
• Closely monitor breathing patterns, feeding, and overall comfort—especially during and after feedings
• Recognize and appropriately respond to signs of respiratory distress or feeding challenges
• Maintain a calm, safe, and nurturing environment to minimize stress
• Engage in age-appropriate play, bonding, and stimulation activities that support healthy growth and development (no screen time)
Schedule:

We live in a nice area with a big backyard. We'd like someone who is has several references, can swim (we have a pool), understands gentle parenting and Montessori methods, and is flexible. We both work from home so will be around most days. We've had two nannies previously who we adore and can provide family references.
