A little bit about us

My son is 13 years old and has Down syndrome. Despite some stubbornness he is easy going, loving and fun. Our nanny is leaving for college so we need a new one. Responsibilities include picking him up from school 3 days a week at 2:30 and watching him until 5:30/6. A high energy, enthusiastic, patient person will be the best fit. Taking him to the park or playing outside are very important. He is also diabetic,
so being comfortable with monitoring his blood sugar ( no finger prick required- he wears a monitor) is necessary. Occasionally picking up his older brother may be asked of you as well- in which case has money will be given.
