Full-Time Nanny Job: The Brown Family with 1 Child
We are eager to find the right fit for a November start date so below is a brief overview of what we are looking for & standard questions we would have..
Experience, safety credentials, and family alignment to care for our Harlow would be top priority.
1. Safety, Health, and Emergencies
- "Are your CPR and First Aid certifications up to date?"
- "Can you walk me through exactly how you would handle an allergic reaction or medical emergency?"
2. Daily Routine and Activities
- "What are your preferred methods for sleep training or naptime soothing?"
- "What does a typical day with a child my child's age look like?"
4. Logistics and Household Management
- "Are you comfortable with child-related chores like washing bottles, children's laundry, and tidying up play areas?"
- "Do you have a clean driving record, and are you comfortable driving our child if necessary?"
- "How much schedule flexibility do you have if our work day runs late or has a schedule change?"
We are located in Creston, just north of downtown GR (Knapp & Plainfield). Dad works in Holland, I am 100% remotely working from the home. We have one family dog Rizzo (English Springer Spaniel) who is beyond friendly & quite the lazy city dog. Enclosed backyard, comfortable deck, & neighbor strolls are where we choose to spend most of our time right now. Looking for 9-5 or 8-4, slightly flexible start & end times. I am very open to your preferences in working with a WFH parent.
Sleep training will be a new concept for us around this time. Breastfeeding & supplementing with formula currently, and hope to have our feeding journey sorted out in the next month. (Happy to discuss further.)
Do you have any non-negotiables? Would you be okay with a full background check? Preferred contract or style of agreement? Preferred hours, pay, sick/time off? Are you looking for a long term position?

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Ford Family with 3 Children
We're looking for someone to help in mornings and evenings, most likely 3-4 days a week (Mon through Thurs), 2-3 weeks a month. I have a hectic travel schedule and my wife needs assistances getting kids to school (7:30-8:30 AM) and then help with schoolwork/childcare after school, usually 4-6:30 PM. There could be some additional childcare opportunities with longer hours as well, depending on her work schedule.
We have three kids, a boy age 8, and two girls age 6 and 3.
Responsibilities in the morning would be to help get lunches made, breakfast on the table, and kids focused to get out the door. In the evening, it would be helping with reading and math (more so making sure they're focused) and some dinner prep. We have an 18 month black lab who will also need some distracting as well.
We can flexible on some of the hours and days, but will need support a minimum of two weeks a month, and might need to adjust schedules a bit a week or so in advance depending on travel (would most likely result in added days of childcare)

Full-Time Nanny Job: The Emery Family with 2 Children
My schedule can be random sometimes as I work at a golf course. I am very busy during the summer but not as much in the winter time. I do have a large dog in the home so there would be some pet care as in letting her out but no walking her. My kids are lively and love doing anything and everything. I just want someone to keep them entertained as well as helping to challenge and educate them during the day. I am a very scheduled mom when it comes to their naps but pretty loose when it comes to most everything else.
Part-Time Nanny Job: The Thomas Family with 2 Children
My son name is Kingston, he is special needs, 10 years old, very laid-back doesn’t need much assistant, he loves being in his own space and doesn’t cause problems. He is independent. Genesis is seven years old such a talker very sweet little girl. Also laid-back And don’t mind being her own space. They both leave assistance with warming food, but for the most part, Genesis will be the one who needs to sitter because Kingston goes to therapy 3 to 4 times a week in the evening I would like someone who can transport, get them off the bus And make sure they do homework and eat . I’m a hairstylist, so I’m pretty flexible but I also understand I have to work and right now I’m in dire need of a nanny.
