Full-Time Nanny Job: The Lu Family with 1 Child
We're looking for an experienced, patient, and attentive nanny to care for our 10-month-old daughter in our Cary, NC home.
Schedule:
• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Start date: last week of August (flexible within that week)
Location: Cary, NC (in-home care)
About the role: This is primarily a solo nanny position through September. Starting in October, Lina's grandfather will be visiting and spending time in the home — he'll mainly engage in play with Lina, not hands-on care like diapering or feeding, so the nanny will still be the primary caregiver for all care routines. Nanny should be comfortable with a grandparent present and interacting/playing with baby during the day. Dad works from home but is in back-to-back meetings most of the day and needs to stay focused; he's reachable for genuine emergencies only.
Daily responsibilities:
• Bottle-feed formula every 2.5–3 hours
• Offer solid food/snacks about an hour after each bottle
• Put baby down for naps (2–3 per day, each roughly 30–90 minutes)
• Engage in age-appropriate play and take her for walks on nice-weather days
What we're looking for:
• Prior experience caring for infants/young children (required)
• Patient, warm, and responsive caregiving style
• Comfortable following a structured feeding/nap/medication routine
• Comfortable with a family member (grandparent) present and playing with baby part-time starting in October
• Reliable, punctual, and communicative
• Comfortable administering medication on schedule (we'll walk you through everything)
To apply, please share:
• Relevant childcare experience (especially with infants)
• Availability starting the last week of August
• Any experience with medication administration or children with medical needs (a plus, not required)
• References

Remi is a fun time, but still developing. We mainly need support between the hours of 10a - 3p, on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Because Remi is still so young, we primarily are looking for someone to take care of her needs at our home during these hours, assisting things like feeding, naps, tummy-time, and play time.
