Full-Time Nanny Job: The Lenz Family with 3 Children
Hello! We have three wonderful children, who live with mom 50% of the time, and dad 50% of the time. Two boys (6 & 9), one girl (7). Both parents work full-time and are in need of long-term loving assistance for our children! Locations of parents’ residences are between Chesterfield and Lake Saint Louis area, care will take place at both homes.
We need someone who:
-Has reliable transportation and is a safe driver to help with school drop offs and pick ups.
-Doesn’t mind longer commutes for drop offs and pick ups: may be up to 30 minutes between locations depending on the day between Chesterfield and Wentzville areas, and could be another 30 minutes back to parent’s residence.
-Can commit to working 40 hours weekly for four 10 hr shifts coordinating with parents’ schedule and may require a start time as early as 5:00am in Chesterfield/Creve Coeur area. *Also willing to split between two caregivers!
-Patient and nurturing; while our children are typically well-behaved, some have ADHD and struggle with emotional regulation a bit more than most children
-Someone that truly cares and enjoys caring for children
Duties of this position includes:
-Assisting children in getting ready for school in the mornings and with breakfast
-School drop offs and pickups (sometimes to two different locations)
-Watching and playing with children on days where children have off school for holidays and breaks
-Food allergy knowledge and able to administer epi-pen if needed (mom is a nurse and will go over this with caregivers, and usually have lunches and food prepped ahead of time)
-May require staying home with mild-moderately ill child(ren), we will not ask caregiver to stay with a very ill child)
-May require picking up child early from school and staying with them if needed
-Light housekeeping and meal prep if able
We also have two cats and one dog between the two homes!

My baby girl was born on July 5, so I am on maternity leave until October 2 or so. Around this time, I will resume working remotely and I anticipate needing help three days per week. I think Monday, Wednesday, Friday. As the date gets closer, I will be able to confirm. My daughter’s name is Florence, but we call her Flora. She was born at 35 weeks and she is tiny but strong. This is my first child and first time looking into childcare. I should be able to drop off Flora in the mornings and pick her up in the afternoons with no problem. I am nervous about leaving her with someone and I am hoping to find someone trustworthy and knowledgeable. Experoence with preemies is a plus.
