A little bit about us

We're a warm, loving family looking for an experienced, nurturing, dependable nanny for our infant son. The term is January through July (or five months to 1-year-old). Responsibilities include feeding, diapering, naps, tummy time, play, walks, and light baby-related housekeeping. Must be infant CPR and first aid certified or willing to become certified. Both parents work full-time and work from home 3-5 days per week. We're looking for someone comfortable finding a rhythm that allows for occasional parent drop-ins, including mom nursing when possible during the day. We're in a third-floor walkup apartment and have a calm, friendly Goldendoodle. Open to a schedule of either four or five days a week (M-Th or M-F).

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide loving, attentive care for our baby

- Plan age-appropriate activities that support his development

- Support naps, feeding and daily routine

- Handle bottles, baby dishes and baby laundry

- Take him on outings and activities outside the home

- Keep his space clean and organized

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Experience caring for infants

- Warm, patient, dependable and attentive

- Strong communication skills and references

- Up to date on vaccinations

- Non-smoker

- Current infant and child CPR/first-aid certification

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

A NOTE ABOUT OUR FAMILY

My husband and I work from home some days, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable caring for a baby in a home where a parent is present.

We also have a very friendly dog Simba, a mini goldendoodle who loves people.
