A little bit about us
Primarily responsible for taking care of our newborn son (16 weeks). We would like someone who can help with driving our big kids (7.5 and 4.5) to and from school and after school activities, care for them after school and on breaks, and to help with light housekeeping. Looking for someone with experience, who’s active, engaging, and fun loving, ok with pets, and has references. Schedule is variable between 7:30am and 7pm but wouldn’t be more than 9 hours/day. Pay is 18-20/hr(depending on experience) + reimbursement for any driving you do for us. Looking for someone who’s willing to stay with our family long term.

A little bit about us
My son's name is Judah, he is 3 years old, he will be 4 in December. He is an extremely smart and bright kid. Full of love and laughter. I am in the process of potty training him, so there will be a bit of changing pull ups involved.
Please let me know if you can help me.

What Are After-School Nanny Jobs?
After-school nanny jobs are part-time positions that cover weekday afternoons, usually from school pickup until early evening. They fit nannies who want a regular schedule, students, and people with other commitments in the morning.
Types of After-School Nanny Jobs and Responsibilities
Typical duties include school or bus-stop pickup, snacks, homework help, activities and lessons, and sometimes dinner. Some jobs include a few mornings or school holidays too. Check the school pickup time, the days per week, and whether driving is required.
How to Interview for After-School Nanny Jobs
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is a nanny job interview. Here are some questions you should ask:
- What time is school pickup, and which days do you need care?
- Will I drive, and is a car seat or vehicle provided?
- How do you handle early dismissals and school holidays?
- What are the children's activities and routines?
- Is dinner or light housekeeping part of the job?
Beyond asking these questions, families will want you to have your nanny references ready and ask any questions to show initiative. The nanny job interview is an excellent opportunity to get aligned on the nanny job expectations. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
