I also need 1-2 Saturdays per month, the hours on Saturdays would be around 10:30-6pm (flexible on this!) and no transportation would be needed at all on weekends! Weekends are very flexible with a couple weeks notice required if changes are needed.
My kids are kind and sweet and lots of fun! We are a very relaxed and go with the flow family who believes in play and imagination with a little technology sprinkled in! We especially love movies! The only clean up required is after feeding and diapers. No additional housework required. Easy to prep meals will be provided and no heavy cooking required!

Types of After-School Nanny Jobs and Responsibilities
Typical duties include school or bus-stop pickup, snacks, homework help, activities and lessons, and sometimes dinner. Some jobs include a few mornings or school holidays too. Check the school pickup time, the days per week, and whether driving is required.
How to Interview for After-School Nanny Jobs
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is a nanny job interview. Here are some questions you should ask:
- What time is school pickup, and which days do you need care?
- Will I drive, and is a car seat or vehicle provided?
- How do you handle early dismissals and school holidays?
- What are the children's activities and routines?
- Is dinner or light housekeeping part of the job?
Beyond asking these questions, families will want you to have your nanny references ready and ask any questions to show initiative. The nanny job interview is an excellent opportunity to get aligned on the nanny job expectations. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
