A little bit about me
My journey with childcare began when I received a job as a preschool aide. The role was so fun that I decided to get my early childhood units so I could be the main teacher…it was the BEST job.
Safety is one of my main priorities. I have a keen awareness of the child’s activities and surroundings at all times. A second priority is being reliable. I understand that the parents have obligations and how important it is to be on-time and reliable. I hardly ever “call in sick”. Lastly, I am always in teaching mode even though you may not know it. In 8 years, this is the first time I have had to actively look for a new family. Reviews upon request:)

A little bit about me
Working with children has been my life calling since I remember - I grew up as the oldest of 6 kids and wanting to be a teacher/nurse then eventually taking on roles in my community such as tutoring, babysitting, teaching Sunday school and it made me realize it was something I really excelled at. I now have a degree in Developmental Psychology and have professional experience teaching toddlers, 3 year olds, and kindergarteners at a private school for early education. I have also acquired a certification to teach yoga and children’s yoga. I am intentional with children’s growth and honor a child’s development in every age stage. I have a background in American sign language and can comfortably utilize baby sign and ASL. I love cooking healthy food and making it taste delicious, and I think that nutrition is so important for little ones. I would love to have a chat with you if you would like to know more specifics about my nannying career, education, or background!

Daycare vs. Hiring a Nanny
Choosing between putting your child in daycare and hiring a nanny can be a tough decision. While nannies are often more expensive, they provide individualized attention and flexibility.
