A little bit about us

Looking for someone to care for my son from 11a-7p on Saturdays while I work. Looking to pay minimum wage p/h but willing to negotiate in the right circumstances. Justin loves riding his bike, hoverboard, hiking, sports and swimming. This is what a typical Saturday looks like for him. I'm looking for someone who lives a somewhat active lifestyle, that wouldn't mind getting out and participating in stuff he likes, not watching from the sidelines. All I ask is you have reliable transportation, a reference or two, and you are willing to do this on a consist schedule. We are looking to add someone to our family. If this post sounds like it's for you, please, message me, Justin and I would love to meet you!

A little bit about us

I am a single mom with a work from home corporate job. I am looking for someone to watch my 3 year old on the weekends. Depending on the hours I would be paying anywhere from $50 to $200 for 2 or so days of work. This would be an evening position, Fri-Sat 10pm-2am. I pay the 1st of and 15th of every month(we can sign an agreement if needed!)
I do prefer someone who speaks Spanish as we are a bilingual family, But it is not necessary.
*having your own vehicle is required *

What Are Weekend Nanny Jobs?

Weekend nanny jobs are positions that cover Saturdays, Sundays, or both. Some families need a regular weekend nanny, and others only need help on certain weekends for work, travel, or events. Weekend jobs suit nannies who want extra income alongside another job, students, and anyone who prefers a part-time schedule.

Types of Weekend Nanny Jobs and Responsibilities

Weekend nanny jobs range from a regular weekly shift to a handful of planned weekends a year. Some are a few hours on a Saturday afternoon, and others are a full day or an overnight. Responsibilities can include meals, play and outings, nap and bedtime routines, and light tidying related to the children. Read each posting for the dates, hours, and expectations before you reply.

How to Interview for Weekend Nanny Jobs

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is a nanny job interview. Here are some questions you should ask:

  • Which weekends and hours do you need, and is the schedule regular?
  • How much notice will you give me for one-off weekends?
  • Will I be at your home, or taking the children to activities and outings?
  • How will I be paid, and by what day?
  • What are the children's ages and routines?

Beyond asking these questions, families will want you to have your nanny references ready and ask any questions to show initiative. The nanny job interview is an excellent opportunity to get aligned on the nanny job expectations. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
