I’ve babysat twin boys since they were about 1 year old (they’re now 4), so I have a lot of experience with toddlers and daily routines. I was also a special needs teacher aide at my school for about 1–2 years, where I worked closely with students one-on-one. In addition, I’ve done peer tutoring, helping students with schoolwork and providing emotional support when needed.

I enjoy doing creative activities like drawing, coloring, and simple crafts, as well as playing outside, going on walks, and helping with learning activities like reading or homework. I like to keep kids engaged but also make sure they feel comfortable and supported.

The most important part is creating a safe and comfortable environment where kids feel understood and supported. Building trust with both the child and the family is really important to me.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience through my school’s peer tutoring program where I worked one-on-one with a student who needed extra support. I helped him stay on track in class, communicate his needs, and manage emotional moments in a calm and patient way.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was watching the twins I babysit grow from toddlers into little kids with their own personalities. It’s really rewarding seeing how much they learn and being part of that.
