The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the kids was having a rough day and didn’t want to talk, so we just sat together and baked cookies. After a while, they started opening up about what happened at school without me even asking. By the time the cookies were done, they were smiling again, and it felt good knowing I could be someone they felt comfortable with.
