I love spending time with children and engaging them in a variety of fun and educational activities. Board games are a favorite of mine because they not only entertain but also teach important skills like strategy and teamwork. Reading together is always a joy, as it helps spark a love for books and boosts language skills. I also enjoy playing interactive games that get everyone moving and thinking. Arts and crafts are a wonderful way to let kids express their creativity, and I love seeing their imaginations come to life through different projects. The most important aspect of being a nanny to me is creating a nurturing and supportive environment where children can thrive and feel valued. Whether it's engaging in interactive games, reading, or arts and crafts, I strive to connect with each child on their level and provide a safe, joyful space for them to grow. Seeing a child's progress, whether it's a small milestone like a wave or the joy from a fun car game, brings immense fulfillment and reaffirms my commitment to their well-being and happiness.

I have had experience working with special needs children, particularly through my role as a Behavioral Technician specializing in children with autism and babysitting children with autism. I focused on creating a nurturing and supportive environment that accommodated each child's unique needs, fostering their growth and development which has equipped me with the patience, empathy, and skills necessary to effectively support and care for children with special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my most cherished experiences wasn't strictly a nanny moment, but it was incredibly meaningful to me. While working as a Behavioral Technician, I worked with a young girl who was nonverbal. One of her goals was to be able to say "hi" and wave. Every time I saw her, I would wave, and one day, while she was on the swing, she waved back at me. It was such a heartwarming moment that made my heart melt.

Another favorite moment was while I was working as a babysitter for a very energetic little boy who loved werewolves and boxing. He was the youngest child in his family and didn't have many playmates his age. During a car ride, I noticed he was getting a bit restless and his energy was affecting the other passengers. To help, I suggested we play some car games, which he really enjoyed. Seeing his happiness and knowing I helped create a fun, peaceful environment was incredibly rewarding.
