I've always enjoyed working with kids and have gotten most of my experience from babysitting my little cousins. After taking a child development class at my university, my perception on childcare and children in general significantly changed. I strongly believe in treating children like humans with their own autonomy, emotions, and thoughts and beliefs, not as a second class human that must be obedient 24/7.
