My name is Aaliyah, I am from Flora, MS. I have always had a deep love for children, which has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Since I was about nine years old, I knew I wanted to work with kids. This dedication has only grown stronger over the years. Currently, I am a senior online student at Alcorn State University majoring in Human Development and Family Science. My goal is to attend Louisiana State University to pursue a Master's in Social Work. I am committed to making a positive impact in children's lives and advocating for their well-being. I have always been the designated babysitter in my family, which has allowed me to care for infants to preschoolers. This has helped me develop a strong understanding of children's needs. The coursework in my major has equipped me with a solid understanding of child psychology and development stages. I am certified in First Aid and CPR but it has been a while so I will probably have to get a recertification!
