For a year becoming a babysitter, I worked as an EMS (Emergency Medical Services) professional, where I gained invaluable experience working with children in high-pressure situations. This role taught me how to stay calm, assess situations quickly, and respond effectively in emergencies. I learned how to comfort children in distress, ensure their safety, and provide the appropriate care while also keeping them calm during difficult moments. My time in EMS has given me a unique skill set that I bring to my babysitting, helping me manage unexpected situations with confidence and compassion, always prioritizing the well-being of the kids in my care.

One of my favorite things about babysitting is getting the chance to bond with the kids through video games. I love playing games with them because it’s a fun way to connect, share laughs, and engage in some friendly competition. Whether we’re racing in Mario Kart, teaming up in Minecraft, or solving puzzles together, it’s always great to see how excited they get. Plus, it gives me an opportunity to encourage teamwork, problem-solving, and healthy gaming habits while making sure everyone is having a good time.
