I am a fun, happy, outgoing person. I’ve worked with kids for 8+ years and love to help out with them! It can be so fun to watch them grow and learn as they get older. I love to see the different personalities that show as they get older and it is so rewarding when you find the right family to work with! I am very clean, responsible, communicative, fun, and hardworking. I try my best to go above and beyond for the families that I work with. I also try to ensure the smoothest transition possible for the parents and children by offering to do trial days or meeting for interviews more than once to make sure that it is a good fit and everyone feels comfortable. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have nannied since I was 14 and love being around kids and helping take care of them. I did a program abroad that worked with kids and teaching english. I volunteered with daycare rooms in high school and have been nannying as a career for about 3 years now. As far as nanny experience prior, I worked with my own family as well as family friends as a paid nanny during summers and in my down time during the school months.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and crafts, games, watching movies, playing at the park, kicking a ball around, taking them to fun places like museums or the aquarium, etc. as well as making up new games or activities that will be engaging to the kids based on the age.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Loving the family and kids you are caring for. It is so important to make sure that the kids are safe and happy and cared for, but it’s equally as important to love them and to love the family that is trusting you with their littles and their home. Making sure that the parents feel safe knowing their child is in good hands and that anything they need will be taken care of. With a nanny, they should be going above and beyond to make sure the family is helped and taken care of. Whatever that looks like for your family, the person you welcome to your home should be willing and able to make that happen.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with special needs in some of my past high school classes. I also have worked with a few kids in India during my semester there that are special needs. I mostly played games with them and kept them company but it is something that I know is different situation to situation.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Watching the process of them growing up. Seeing personality come through from the kids that were very little when I started. It’s very tender and sweet to see how fast it all happens. I have loved some of the families I’ve worked with in the past so much and they were absolutely wonderful people I’m so grateful I was able to work for and meet.
