I have been babysitting since I was in middle school. During Covid I nannyed 3 very hyper and active girls. I had to become very creative and patient to keep them occupied at home for the summer. I have worked in daycare/Sunday school settings where I supervised many children by myself.

are arts and crafts, playing outside, board games, video games/tv. As an aspiring museum educator, I would love to create fun activities for learning!
My experience with special needs children...
My job during lockdown was for a foster care family with two foster kids and one biological one. The two foster children dealt with behavior management which could result in violence and tantrums. The youngest had sacral agenesis, spina bifida, and cerebral palsy which required me to be very attentive to diaper changes and making sure she took her medications.
The most important part about being a nanny...
All summer I watched the girls play in the sprinklers and hose so towards the end of the summer after a lot of begging I finally brought my swimsuit and played in the hose with them and they thought it was the best thing ever!
