A little bit about me

Hi! With many years of formal and informal childcare experience under my belt, I am looking for something temporary this summer. I just finished library school and am free for the months of July and August (with a prior commitment in Sept and Oct).
I have worn many different yet related hats: babysitter to neighborhood families for many years (even after they had moved away), daycare assistant, tutor to elementary school students, French teacher to middle and high school students, and assistant in the children's department of a public library. I like to bring out creativity and playfulness in kids, as they do in me. Many coworkers of mine have said that I have a great deal of patience, especially when working with little ones. I would also like to think that I am capable of energy, reliability, honesty, and organization. I can provide references upon request.
