I have worked as a direct support in family homes. In this role I provided behavior support, transportation, and strong relationship-based care to children between the ages of 7 and 16. My experience was primarily with children on the autism spectrum or with intellectual delays.
I have also support for students with specific needs in my work as a teacher, adapting the classroom to meet their needs and working with them to build the skills they need in order to succeed.
