I was in a Teaching As A Profession class for 3 years in highs school, I cared for children in the daycare ranging from ages 3 months -5 years old. I supervised and aided children from the ages of 6-14 years old.

I enjoy playing games with them, taking them to the park to play, going on walks around the neighborhood. Or just staying inside watching tv with them, helping them with work or cognitive skills.

The most important part of being a nanny is communication, respect, and connection. I believe you need to have a good connection with the kids and a good relationship where everyone is comfortable. It is even more important to have a level of communication and respect toward the parents of the children to ensure you are doing the absolute best for their child.
My experience with special needs children...
In my Teaching as A Profession class, we worked with a variety of special needs children. Young children in the elementary and middle school age, and also older teenagers in the high school age range.
