I worked in the Bentonville Community center kids room. I’ve been a childcare preschool teacher for ages 1-school aged, and have been taking early childhood education courses since high school.

I love taking kids to local attractions such as the Amazeum and Let’s Imagine, but also just hiking some trails or hammocking in the backyard! I have been a certified lifeguard in the past, and was a competitive swimmer through my youth so I am aware of pool safety and swimming!

My experience with special needs children...
I am autistic myself, and have always enjoyed working with special needs and neurodivergent kiddos my entire life. Even in elementary school, I participated in a buddy program where I would spend my day learning in the SPED classroom with a buddy and the following day the buddy would join me for my classes.
The most important part about being a nanny...
It was very rainy one day, and kind of chilly but my kiddos just begged and begged to go outside in all their gear. I let them, and it was the most fun day or learning we had while having authentic experiences in the world around us. It was so fun to teach them about the worms all in the garden, the rainbows in puddles, and why their chalk melted away.
