My experience with special needs children...
I have worked at a specialized school for the deaf for the past 4 years. I have worked with students from ages 3 through 21 with varying needs and disabilities. I have specific experience with autism, down syndrome, deaf or hard of hearing, and cerebral palsy. I am very comfortable working with children who have special needs, in fact it is my passion! I am conversationally fluent in American Sign Language and I have extensive experience using AAC devices (TouchChat, Avaz, Tobi Eye Gaze).
