I currently work as an assistant teacher in a Montessori primary classroom. I have worked with children full time ages 1-17 in a variety of other childcare roles including summer camps, afterschool programs, and holiday programs. I have also done babysitting gigs with children as young as 4 weeks.
I have worked with children on the autism and adhd spectrums. As well as those with physical and mental disabilities.
I have done trainings in TBRI (trust based relationship intervention), positive discipline, and Montessori.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love playing outside in all weather, crafts, reading, dancing, and singing silly songs. I also love including them in classic daily chores such as sweeping or loading the dishwasher. It’s fun for them (and they are learning too)
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with children on the autism and adhd spectrum. I am cpr and first aid trained and am comfortable using an inhaler or épi pen/emergency allergy medication. I also have worked with children with mobility and cognitive disabilities.
