More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked as an extended day aide at Heritage Christian School and as a Childcare worker at Lake City Community Church as both a paid worker and volunteer for around 4 years. I also have experience with children in the missions field, specifically caring for children and playing games with them for Sacred Road in Yakima, Washington and in Malawi, Africa. I also was a volunteer volleyball coach at Heritage Christian School for their volleyball season.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love taking kids to parks, playing outside in the yard, and playing any game or activity they want to do. I love sports and make believe games. I also love doing indoor games and activities based on the ages of the children ranging from little hands-on crafts, activities, and puzzles to larger scale crafts and board/ card games for older kids. Make believe games and activities are also lots of fun inside! Again, I would love to do whatever the child would like to do!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is making every kid feel loved, heard, and cared for. It is important to make sure everyone is being kind and having a good time. Providing a safe and fun space for the kids is always an extremely important goal.
My experience with special needs children...
Though I do not have much experience with children with special needs, I cared for and played with many special needs children on my missions trips to Africa and Sacred Road.
