My experience with special needs children...
As a summer camp counselor I have worked with children with ADHD and Austism. The children in my camps did not require a one on one aid so these we're children lower on the spectrum. However, I am a big advocate for continual education and I'd love to work with any kids and learn alongside your family.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments working with kids is being able to see their progess. In my camp counseling jobs I had some kids over the course of all 11 weeks. It was always so special to see kids who were once shy flourish and their personalities come out.
